Torch Trust believes people with sight loss have an equal and valuable part to play in church and communities. By working together we reach and enable people with sight loss to have fulfilling Christian lives.  Torch changes lives by providing accessible Christian resources and services encouraging people to have confidence in God and themselves.  We change communities by providing expert advice and guidance, enabling churches and Christian communities to be inclusive of people with sight loss. We change the world by inspiring sight loss organisations locally and globally to consider the spiritual need of their clients.

We do through offering services and resources to our clients and partners.

Torch is committed to sharing in both words and actions the love of God shown in Jesus. Torch seeks to operate in accordance with the principles taught by the Holy Bible. All that Torch does is open to those of all faiths and none.

We work internationally through mutually supportive partnerships with local organisations and individuals. Torch literature is sent to over 100 countries around the world. We have a longstanding involvement in Africa through our partnership with Torch Malawi, who support local people with sight loss, run fellowships, and produce accessible Bibles in African languages.

Torch is supported by donations and by prayer. We are thankful for God's provision and seek to be good stewards in all that we do.

Torch has a staff of around 40 people in the UK, including people with sight loss. We are committed to ensuring that at least half of our board of Trustees are people with sight loss. The main office and production centre is located in Leicestershire. Torch operates a Holiday and Retreat Centre in the scenic Sussex countryside and has a staff member based in in Northern Ireland.
